Our system utilizes the stack effect to re-purpose existing energy in new or existing structures into a consumable format, electricity.
With the proper configuration and engineering this system will provide significant financial value as well as positive marketing and promotional value.

Common questions about the Energy Column
What specifically makes your application better for the environment?
This application is better for the environment because it allows electricity to be produced and consumed within the same structure, thus eliminating wasted electricity in transportation from an external source. Anytime power is produced in a different area than it is consumed, energy is lost through transmission, in some cases up to 50%.
Our system allows you to consume 100% of the electricity generated because there is no loss through transmission. By utilizing the energy produced by our renewable and sustainable source we will reduce the need to operate on fossil fuels which continue to harm our environment.
Why not just put a wind turbine on top of the building?
Our cutting edge design produces wind energy without the need for an external wind turbine. More importantly, our system produces energy even in the absence of wind. Our design is enhanced by wind but not dependent upon it. Wind turbines are dependent upon a gust of wind to operate, are very loud, and can be very unsightly as well.
Why not just put solar panels on the building?
Solar panels would definitely work, however they are not transparent. Our system harnesses solar energy by using transparent panels on the exterior of the building to heat the air within the column. By using transparent panels, we are able to maintain the aesthetic value of your building.
Will this technology work on any building?
Yes. Results will vary based on the size and height of the building but in general the design will work on any building size.
